#14 Christmas Songs

I looooooooooooooooooooove it when KOST starts playing christmas songs. It makes me super happy. With that being said, I'm posting Christmas songs until the end of the season. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

First song of the season is Mele Kalikimaka by Bette Midler. She's whack, but I like her version best.

#12 Hot Apple Cobbler

actually, ANY cobbler for that matter.

Funny story. So when I was younger, Maricris and I had a sleepover at Kat's house. The whole night we ate a whole mess of food - when do I never eat that much? By this point I was so full. Then, Kat's mom baked a peach cobbler. It looked so good I couldn't resist. I said, "I'll just have a small piece." Before you knew it, I ended up eating more than half the cobbler.

Whatever. Kat's mom knows how to make cobbler.



This is not Kat's mom's cobbler. This is the apple cobbler from Woodranch.

#10 Carving Pumpkins

This past Halloween I had the urge to re-live my childhood and carve a pumpkin. I let my creative juices flow and this was the result.



I call it a nurse-o-lantern with a matching syringe.



Until that day, I never realized how much work it actually takes to pumpkin carving. How come I don't remember it being this difficult? It already takes a lot of energy to just clean-out that sucker - annoying too. After straining my wrist and ruining a knife, I have to say I'm pretty happy with my pumpkin. Hope everyone had a happy Halloween.

#9 Porto's

Had a Porto's run with Kat. I had a potato ball sandwich - which is always delicious. We both bought cheese rolls to-go. And topped it off with three desserts.
Porto's + bonding time = good friday. (not to be confused with the religious day)

napoleon = eh, okay.
